I saw a post about starting old seeds. Just for the heck of it I started a bunch of seeds from a watermelon I grew back in 1997. I came from a cross of the two biggest melons at the time and grew my state record. After about 10 days one of the seeds germinated. It is the top one in this picture. It will be fun to see how it does.
