Started germination trials today on a few of my own and one 562 Minor (which dwarfs mine)
Took three seeds, filed the edges and soaked in warm water for 1h then placed between moist cotton wool (excess water squeezed out). Cotton wool pad placed in a sealable freezer bag and placed next to the hot water boiler (temp. 80-90 ish but variable).
Same as above for a fourth seed but I picked away some of the shell. Don't ask me why, just curiosity although I will not be doing this when sow time comes).
