This would be the third patch and is virgin ground. It is a little over 1200 sq ft but needs a lot of work. It has had two bonfires on there so microorganisms and worms in the soil have had a hard time of it. Tons of screws and nails to pick out of the soil.

To make life easier for myself I may just go for a 500 sq ft patch in the middle and grow another two flags patterns. Candidates for here would be the 772 Wagler and a 1131 Gansert. Sorry guys for seed not going to a better spot but I'll do my best to get the ground in good condition in the next four weeks. To be honest, this patch is no different to the one that grew my 494 last year so the results may even be better this year.

The only draw back is having enough material to grow these ones undercover so they could be late starters. Time will tell.
