I somehow added 30 extra days onto the age of 40 Pounds in the previous post. I added an extra 30 days for September, like it was the 10th of October instead of September 10th. The melon was only 78 days post pollination.I am sorry I added that up wrong.Vine and melon were still very healthy though.If I can keep my 231 Mitchell healthy until Allardt it will be only 88 days post pollination. It will be my best melon this year. I am still hoping I can get 200 pounds out of it. And I believe I can be competitive next year.
