My melon named 40 pounds due to a prediction that would be it's eventual limit. I picked it today. It's stem was still green, the plant still healthy and it's was still adding a fraction of a pound a day.It was 108 days post pollination. These melons can grow for a very long time for anyone who can keep the plant and fruit healthy.It weighed 85 pounds on my bathroom scale. OTT put it at 85.1, so it was right on.
