My first contest this year is the UK Giant vegetable Championships at the Amateur Gardening show on 3/4/5 September so with this in mind I've made a start today with 266 Tomlin* and a 709 Raymont.
The pic shows how I've supported the new square pots with a few bits of batten.They hold about 3.5 gallons and should allow the plants to be kept inside longer,about 8 days after germination which could be important at this time of the year.
