Despite losing the 1161 Stuart and I had another good week in the patch.
The 1180 on day 76 taped 1503lbs up 85lbs for the week.
The 1385 on day 74 taped 1130lbs up 61lbs this week.
The other 1180 on day 71 hit the 1000lbs and taped 1052lbs up 74lbs for the week.
And our 1457 on day 77 was 1184lbs up 54lbs this week.
We had the press round this week which is good for advertising our show but we were not impressed that they said we were confident in beating the world record. Sure if the 1180 holds together it will be an impressive pumpkin but it’s not really our style to say things like that so please take it with a pinch of salt.
Anyway, like always will continue, good or bad right up to the weigh off so that everyone following can enjoy the ride.
This is the onion I’m going to take to the show at the end of this week with the 1385 pumpkin.
