looking for some sun and warm weather at the same time. saturday never broke 70 and was cloudy. sunday was a sunny 74 but 55 at night. yesterday was sunny for 3 hours and cloudy the rest of the day and made it to 81. some tree leaves are starting to change color here and drop early. all 3 pumpkins dropped a bit in daily average, but that was expected with the crappy 3 day stretch. good thing the hot weather is finally here starting today and hoping for a pick up in growth pace over the next few days. i imagine the powdery mildew isn't helping, but looks to be somewhat in check and sprayed immmunox/demand cs/humic acid last night. tomorrow returns the drench fertilizer program. "it" on the 1385 averaged 20 lbs per day over the last 3 days and is estimated at 915 lbs on day 42 . the "freak" on the 1185 is 35 days old today and has hit 27.7 pounds a day for the last 3 and 138-73-81 or 292 ott on for an estimated weight of 528 lbs. the "duece" on the 1161 secondary was 104-64.5-65 or 233.5 ott and estimated at 275 lbs on day 27 and the blossum keeps receeding so far in that it is freaky. so summer is finally here and time to finish these puppies off with some good warm weather weight gains.
