Spent time in the patch dong some serious weeding, and finally can see the corn and potatoes in the back part of the patch, TONS of weeds. Finally getting them under control.
Pollinated a female on a side vine of the 1459 Sundstrom yesterday for practice. I have two sets of twins on the 1459 I am watching to pollinate this week, and also watching the other three plants, probably by the end of the week. I hope to have more male flowers out there by then. It was a struggle to find male flowers yesterday. Tons of them coming, but nothing ready yet.
