Plants faired another doozy of a rain storm yesterday, basically down pour for about 3 hours yesterday. Did not make a great finish to our Ladies LPGA.
Pumpkins are stubborn and want to grow regardless. Had a beautiful day here on Saturday, all day sun and warm 80's. NICE! Plants took advantage of it. I haven't been fertilizing since it's been so wet, I have all I can do to keep the weeds out and plants sprayed to keep bugs out. SVBs have been spotted, and direct killed with spray, ha ha! One less SVB in my patch, however, don't know if he did his thing before I killed him. Time will tell. No new photo's not much to report, just trying to grow and keep up with vine burrying. Well behind last year. Hopefully willl see some warmer temps soon on a consistent basis. 80's one minute then down to 70's this week, grr!
