Things have been interesting in the patch. Dori was wading thru her plants cutting off tertaries when she fell into a hole. Looking in the holes saw several baby bunnies with eyes not open. She dug them out and was very unhappy as burrow was right under her plants and soil heating cables. Gave the bunnies to friend so they could bottle feed them as they wanted rabbits. Set live trap to try to catch moma bunny so could re-locate her also. So far our trapping score is cats-2, rabbits-0. We have keepers on all our main plants. Dori has one on her 1040 LaRue that you can see from the house. Have not started measuring any yet. Are getting ready to cull to the final. Had one problem on Dori's 1066 McKie, broke the main and had to grow lateral to replace main......has a female coming on it. Meanwhile have pollinated others on first lateral just in case. Most of our fruits are 12 feet plus on the mains.
