well, i just got done re-adjusting bamboo stakes to find another major problem. another crack in a main. this time on the good side even there can be a good thing. at 19' there is a slight perpendicular crack that had to develope today in the high winds with some 40 mph gust. the main was secured tight, but looks to have slightly rolled a bit. this put part of a leaf stalk under the vine just enough to prop it up, and that is where it slightly cracked. i have it secured down, but it is big enough to look into the main and that sucks. oh well, i guess that 18' female will be the one and only last shot on the 1161 main. i am glad cooler weather is here to give it better odds of setting sometime this week. don't ya love this hobby? lol.
