tomorrow starts the pollination process and heat is a major concern. so that means out comes the fans. plural. i have had the 12" vornado fan blowing on the 1385 at 13' for 2 days continuously and it will stay on for the whole week. she should be ready tomorrow morning to open. today an ice bottle will go between the fan and the blossum this morning and a replacement when i get home after work. same for the 12' on the 1161 which is hard to tell this morning if it will open tomorrow or wednesday. the 16' and 17' blossums on the 1385 have one 8" turbo fan cooling them both as they develop all week and are also shaded. same with the 1161 at 15'. now because of rain chances today, little plastic patio tables are over the 8" fans to keep them from shorting out and a little bigger size tables are over the 12" fans. i also threw a 8" turbo fan on the 1185 newly transverted secondary into main tip incase a female is already developing deep in the cluster. and it and the fan are also covered with the little white plastic patio tables. i bought 6 of them yesteday at menards at 9 bucks a piece. and the misting system is set as well. gonna be a week of hell and i am just trying to increase my odds by any means possible. it was a lot of work to get to this point just to let them fry in the sun and heat.
