plants are looking good and all 3 are looking identical in many ways except the 1185 has slower and a couple weaker secondaries on only one side of the plant. i attribute much of this from the energy that the first secondary on the other side is stealing which is acting much like a second main. this does not surprise me and i actually like this fact because this is exactly the way my 1041 grew like last year at the early stage. this plant is very much like last years 1041 which gives me high hopes for this 1185 progeny. the right side secondaries have shown big time improvement with full bright sunshine thursday and friday and are now on track and getting stronger and running. all in all i have no complaints. burned some leaves from underwatering as opposed to overwatering with the cool nights. i would rather thirst the plants out a bit than water too much and cool the soil back down after heating back up from the high 30s and low 40s the nights have been like here for the past week. a couple of smaller newly forming leaves got the crinkle, but gave the plants a nice drink friday morning and will now keep them on a regular every other day pattern from here out with night time temps back in the mid 50s. all three plants are sitting at 8' main vines which puts me 2 or 3 days ahead of last year. i will be expecting to see some females showing up this week and will hit the plants with vigor cal phosphate once a week from 6-10 on to help the flowering stage along nicely. i imagine i will see 14' pollinations about the 24th to the 28th if all goes well.
