As is usual for me I got some of the details wrong in my last letter. I said I had a Beachy, when it is a 1341 Baggs, and a 1058 Ghaye, and a 1070 Provencher. All is correct as of now. All three have made it past the germination stages and the 1070 is just ready to go into a pot, as it was the last to sprout. The tomato in the picture is from a 3.18 lb Smit ( 08 ), and I plan an assault on the European sunflower recore of 14 ft 10 in as well. I already have the Irish record for at least 10 years at 13 ft 10 in, so I got some great seed last year that should be of benefit.
