Soil test completed, and it came in at 6.8, which is as good as it gets. I,ve started 3 seeds, 2 of which are above ground level now, and am still waiting on an old reliable in a 1070 Provencher, which did very well for me in 2007, bringing in a 724 lb.
The 2 over ground are a Ghaye and a Beachy, and as I,m not at home while doing up this diary right now, I cannot remember exactly which ones they are, but I,ll fill in that gap on my next entry.
Ive only space for 2 plants, at a very tight squeeze, but I,m trying to superguess the Irish weather by starting another 2 seeds in 2 weeks time, just in case the weather gets the best of what's already growing.
I,ve got very rich soil this year, so I,m expecting a good season, and the long range weather forecast is for a warm sunny summer. It would make a big change to to previous 2 which were wash out's.
