i was going to help remove some seed coats this morning, but decided to let the plants do the work for a half day on their own. well the 1385 went silly today with the little drink it got this morning. one of its cots got pinched a bit from the seed coat corner and there is a small cut in the center of that one cot leaf. no biggie at all. i like its growth spurt and vigorousness more than the little cut gash on one of the cots. i sprayed down the other sprouts and helped them with their shells also to avoid the same thing happening to them while i go back to work for a second shift tonight after working all day. can't complain in this economy for 10 hours o.t. in one day. this is the main line up in front. you can see how small the 1185 cots are compared to the 1161s and the 1385. like i said, the 1185s were very small seeds for atlantic giants. but sprouts look good and the color should even out on those up front with the shells removed by the time i get home tonight. 3 more sprouted 1147s to get above dirt level. i will raise the light a bit tonight before going to bed to avoid an aggressive sprout from burning itself on the bulbs.
