A sure sign for me that planting day is just around the corner are the tulips in a shady part of the back yard near the strawberry bed.
It the yearly Boyz fishing derby on a nearby lake where a buddies family enjoys 3 cabins on a boat/plane access only lake. Great fishing and always a good time.
Steve is coming over to pick up his bag of supplies for his final patch prep. Once he saw the new hoophouse at my house....he built a new one too...was fun to see the expression on his wife's face as it was put up!! His patch looks great and only needed some minor ammendments so he is ready to go too.
I started an early 1536.5 van Kooten for my Uncle Chris and will loan him my old smaller hoophouse this year to give him a headstart. The 1536.5 was the first to come up and so far, is a nice growing seedling and very impressive.
