I saw Rocky Rockwell at a High School track and field invitational last night at Lock Haven University, he coaches the throwing events for his local high school. He was very busy but we got to talk pumpkins for a brief time. Now I am really wound up, between talking with him and Scottie wanting me to plant seeds for him. So I walked down to the patch this afternoon to check the soil moisture. The wheat cover crop is looking great. The soil conditions are not bad. I was thinking of rototilling but there is rain in the forecast for Monday, so I will wait.
