Tilled mater hut for final time. Dug in ditches for watering. Dori put the tomatoes in the ground. Planted approximately 50 plants in center and south berms. Some of the varieties are Cold set, 4th of July, Druzba, Big boy, Better boy, Delicious, Early girl, Rueggers, Beefsteak and Beef masters. Dug in mycorr in bottom of holes and poured soluible kelp around the plants. Ran the water down the ditches to soak up ground around plants. Checked Dori's pumpkin hut for temperatures under an inverted styrofoam cooler. Temperatures were as follows: max 76, min 48, present 76, and ground at 8" below surface 78 F. Checked my pumpkin hut under styrofoam cooler. Temperatures were max 56, min 36, present 56, ground 8" below surface 70F. My lower temperatures result from wind blowing cover off hut on 3/29. Put hut back up on 3/30 and turned soil cables on again.
