Last fall I brought in 320 yards of composted vegetable matter from our local dump to raise my planting area about 18 inches so I will be growing above our heavy,tight, clay, adobe soil. I raised part of my patch for last year's season and had my best results by far, so I decided to raise my entire growing area which is approximately 60'x125').
