Have been out of town for a couple of days. Checked my pumpkin hut and recorded temperatures. Temperatures are under a strofoam cooler, max 84F, min 42F, present 67F, ground temperature at 8" is 78F. Temperatures recorded at 7:15 pm. Soil heating cables have heated the ground. It is still early so unplugged soil heating cables. Took about 5 days to bring ground temperature up. Will let sit till plants are ready to go into the ground.
