Happy 4th of July y'all. Planted more tomatoes, along with some other plants like lettuce, kale, zucchini squash, dill, and chives. Doing the inverted water bottle method every foot or 2 feet to keep hydrated in the heat wave alert of upper 90s. Corn did well with catfish water from defrosting. Tomato early girl has some but size of a baby fist. Took out egg shells by corn need in future to grind in something, mortar and pestle maybe so don't ruin coffee grinder blades might be project for kiddos.

Posed picture. Picked tomatoes, but since largest one just fit the palm of my hand I didn't weigh them. More small green ones popping but since a bunch of small ones also not looking that'll do well in comparison to y'all's. Side note: kids loving homeschooling.

Humbled the tomatoes given out at the food bank are much larger than mine, ugh. Positive note kids were complimented on how well behaved they had been in waiting our turn.
