i have consolidated the Soil Ammendment calcuator interface so it is less busy looking and easier to understand. All the changes are in the same cell ast the initial readings. so there are less cells. The cells that belong to gether are color coded so they are easier to group visually. I hope this helps people use it better.

Here is my test after all the additions I made. If you compare it to the previous post you will see that the values have changed with it. so there is less data to look at which causes less confusion.

Tuesday, April 10 View Page
I also added a converter page. Here you can enter PPM from a compost/manure test and get the lbs per ton (avg weight). and you can also enter the N-P-K analysis from a liquid fert and get the values that would be "PER BOTTLE", based on the weight of the bottle. The macros here will automatically import the values to the Fert List page. You would just need to give it a name after.

at 7:30 am I started soaking a 1196.6* Ghaye 11 squash seed in "Coded Product 8354" The seed will soak till 12:30 pm and then will be put in Espoma organic starter mix and place in germination chamber that is currently at 87F. The seed was filed around the edges until a small seam was visible. This was to allow "coded product 8354" to gain access to the internals of the seed coat more easily.

Friday the 27th 800* Neily and 477* were sharing a hoop and wind blew vent closed. Got home from work and it was over 100 in the hoop. I watch them shrivel and die over the past couple days. I pulled them and put the 777 Young in the hoop. Looks like i'm going orange this year. Still have and 1196* going in another spot. Gotta have my greenie. Might flag a pollinator along the edge another 1196* or 477*.

After Heavy rains last night my 94 Carter Marrow split on a dill ring. Will weigh it today. around 60#'s The 66 baggs sits at 71 # est today which puts it at a new PB for me, has 3 dill rings so not a good scenario.

3 days of T-Storms have saturated my patch. 1450 menting had split forming at stem to fruit junction. Decided filleting the stem was best option given its growth rate and water availability. at noon the stem was opening and the split on fruit side was larger. couple uneasy days coming up I guess.

Went home for lunch and found 1450 chewed on. didn't touch any other pkn. applied sulfur to the wounds. will give it a good fluching with peroxide later and re apply sulfur. Deer also ate the tops of most of my okra plants. looks like fence investment is inevitable. If this hobby was easy everyone would be doing it, right?

Today at lunch my marrow on the 66 Baggs taped 61 EE x 34 SS. Based on Brad Wurstens chart it now estimates at 94.5 lbs which puts it at a possible new US marrow record if it holds. most of my marrows have weighed light to the chart so i need some more padding on the estimate to feel comfortable. I also blew up another marrow on the 94 Carter today.

found out why 1450 stopped, stem split made it to the cavity, it was rotted today the nose was all folded so i cut it open. Bad idea! what a stink. atleast I know why the sudden growth stop.

Thursday, September 20 View Page
lost my last marrow today to a BES, cabbage is getting descimated by pests, cantaloupe eaten by something, pkns haven't grown in a month. not a leaf left on either plant. melon still moving along slowly. rutabagas only thing doing well but fighting rot on those. looks like season is not one of my best considering it started as my best. might need a year off to recover from this one. Topsfield cant come fast enough. if a pkn dont make it to topsfield then i am definitely taking a year off.
