I take a peek in on this plant on the pumpkin cam every day. It seems to have been stuck in a holding pattern until today. I notice it looks as if it's ready to take off!

It's warmed up a lot here the past two days. It rained for a solid week and was stuck in the 60s.

The plant looks like it is going to fall over soon and begin to vine.

Tomorrow I hope to remove the cold frame and install some wind brakes that Ken Desrosiers designed. I am going to be away on business for two weeks and I know that if I leave the plant in the cold frame it will outgrow it while I'm gone.

I tilled the entire patch today with my new tiller. My weeds were so out of control that it was the only way I could get rid of them.
