Does anyone know the possibility of finding out what two plants (seeds) made the Bob Troy 654 in 2001? That picture is in this book and I would love to try to grow one of these orange beauties. Puter

It was the 940 Mombert 00 X open pollination, but I would guess it was most likely selfed, as the offspring are almost identical to the 654 Troy.

Thank you both, Garysand and iceman! That was the information I will need to start for my next years endeavor!!!! Do either of you know how much this Mombert 940 seed could sell for this winter?? Do I just post "Wanted to Buy" in november on the seed board and see if there are even any left???? I want to cross a Sprinsock and a Mombert and see what it will produce for the next season. This is sooo much fun!! Cant wait till April!!
