This is my first attempt at growing long gourds. All these were sent to me from different sources. The two tallest on the right are both (what it said on the package) 88" Fasciano '05 - 80" Razo selfed. These were by far the fastest growing of the three varieties I grew. The two on the left are 68" Duffy LG 05' (114 Wallis '04 X Open). On the far left you see one just coming up, and that is a 98" D. Gipe LG '05 (80" Glen Andrews '03, 80" Dan Carlson '97) Also on the trellis, which you can see the leaves on both the right and left of me are giant scarlet runner beans (largest runner beans I've ever seen) that I got from giantveg.co.uk website. They were planted much later; so they aren't as big yet. They should make it to the top of the trellis. Directly behind me, which you can't see is a cucumber that I received from Bernard Lavery. The the parent cucumber was 15 lbs. I believe these large cucumbers are of the zeppelin variety. There are also some skyrocket tomatoes, but they are still not even a foot tall yet.
