I took a soil sample this week and it leaves me with more questions than answers. Since the spring sample the potassium, magnesium, copper and calcium have all decreased. The boron is only 1.1 ppm even though I sent 1 lb per plant of 10% boron liquid through the drip last week. I am going to try a soil sample from right under the drip lines to check the boron level there. These samples were mostly in between lines.
My plan is to apply some copper and more boron through the drip this week and keep feeding with Masterblend 4-18-38 combined with magnesium sulfate and calcium nitrate.
I don't know if this is a result of spacial variation, further mixing of soil by tilling or what but it's not what I was expecting to see.
