Today was the day! I transplanted my pumpkin seedlings. I have them well protected with clear bins over the top of them right now. It is supposed to get up to almost 70 today, so I may prop the bins up a bit to get some fresh air in there. I checked the weather and the lowest it is supposed to get this week is 40 degrees at night. Hopefully they will get established and comfortable in their new home with this weeks weather. I almost couldn't wait and put them in yesterday afternoon. I am so glad I decided to wait as I woke up this morning to a blanket of frost. It would have been a very hard first night for my little plants. I know we will still get frost, but those little guys will be well protected. Hopefully this is my year. Good seeds, so far good weather and good goat poop hopefully is an equation for a BIG pumpkin!!
