1378 Pitura - day 62 = THE END
Weighed the 1378 today as it hadn't grown the past two days.
Estimated weight = 967.3 lbs
Actual weight = 852.8 lbs
11.2% light
Of all the pumpkins I have ever grown, this is the only one to ever go light. I have been averaging 10% heavy for years already. Last year my 1378 went 20% heavy.
Only good news is we had our first and only warm night (above 15°C) this year. The 1142 kicked back into gear and the LGs had their first ever 5" night. Even the marrows responded favourably.
Severe hail and wind storm predicted for this afternoon. Hoping it won't end my season like it did last year.
