1142 van Kooten - day 20.
A week of very dark, cold and wet weather. We received more than 2x more rain this week than usually in the whole month of July. Day temps were 14°C-20°C. Nights about 10°C. The biggest problem was the lack of sun.
As expected, the growth on both pumpkins was down dramatically through no fault of the plants themselves. A good start has turned mediocre.
The 1142 has multiple minor and medium cracks in the blossom end which has been treated with baby powder.
