Rutabaga/swede.
Mostly bad news in the giant veg patch this week. Probably because of several weeks of very cold nights (but also dry), my radish, tallest corn plant and 4 of the 9 tall sunflowers bolted. This should have only happened in late August/September. Also plants in my regular garden bolted so it must be weather related.
Tallest corn stalk (not the tallest that already has a tassle) is now 280cm (9ft+). Up a bit more than 2 ft this week.
Temps are supposed to stay high for a few days and then come down to more regular ones for Dutch standards.
