One of the heavy beetroots and heavy carrots.

I have 8 heavy CARROTS going, of which 3 or 4 are doing well.

I have 3 heavy BEETROOTS going, of which 2 are doing well. The one in the picture measures 90 cm (35") from leaf tip to leaf tip. Quite a bit bigger at this stage than last year.

Of my 4 MANGOLDS, 3 are doing quite well and much bigger than last year's at this time.

I have one giant RADISH going and just planted 3 others.

The LONG CARROT in the greenhouse won't make it I don't think. The one outside seems healthy enough.

The 2 heavy PARSNIPS were started way too late but are surviving in the greenhouse.

The 3 giant POTATOES (Nicola) seem to do be doing fine.

So much for the root crops. On to the others...
