Dear fellow growers,
After an extremely successful and exciting season growing two pumpkins over 2000 lbs. (2181 Masters 2212.5 Masters) I am regretful to inform that the harvest was not as successful ?? the 2731 Stelts by 2222 Gienger which produced the 2181 Masters went well with a moderate seed count of beautiful seeds which will be available, however the 2222 Gienger by 2731 Stelts which produced the 2212.5 Masters did not go so well. Very few viable seeds were recovered after receiving countless requests. I asked the grower responsible for getting me into this wonderful hobby, what do I do? I was advised to notify all requesters of the limited seed count and donate any remaining seeds to the central GPC auction. I find this to be the best unbiased decision I could make. 2212.5 Masters seeds will only be available through the GPC auction out of fairness to my fellow growing community. I apologize for this unfortunate circumstance that was out of my control. Special thanks to Tom K. For the most responsible advice. Who knows? Maybe the 2181 Masters was the better cross? What say you?

Good news! Questionable seeds appear to be viable after 48 hrs in incubator. 4 out of 5 germinated so back in they go to see if we can get all 5. I feel better filling requests with seeds I know will germinate. 2212.5 Masters will be available

💯 % germination on 2212.5 test run. This was 1st place biggest and second place HD at Saratoga weigh off. We tend to have the toughest competition nationwide for Howard Dill award so I consider myself lucky in that regard 😁 thanks to VT John with the most beautiful pumpkins I have seen. The seeds from this particular pumpkin are what I set out for between the 2222Gienger and 2731 Stelts cross.
