This is about as non-pumpkin related as it gets but hoping someone has some ideas.

We have been in the new place nearly two months and our first power bill was nearly 3x higher than normal. We have a time of day meter but the unit is stuck on "C" mode which is the mode it's supposed to be on from 11pm until 7am, off peak time. So it's continually charging and running up the tab. If it were Monday morning I would call someone but I'm hesitant to call someone out on the week-end.
The unit is a Steffes 5100 series. I'm supposed to be saving money by having the unit store heat during off peak hours but it's doing the opposite, tganks in advance.
