New personal best for me. This giant amaranth is 26'1" tall. This plant stood this tall in the garden with no staking. It had a stem base circumference just over 2 feet. My previous best amaranth was 25'5" in 2013. This is now the tallest plant I've ever grown, beating a corn stalk I had at 25'9" in 2009. I'm still short of Jesse Eldrid's 27'10" amaranth. Better luck next year.
