This picture shows the other side of the 500 Poirier. (second from front) I didn't see any deep ribs or other reasons for concern about this fruit. In many ways it does resemble the 772. I think the 500 may have a better chance of going heavy to the charts. The 500 may be just as good a seed to plant as the 772. Maybe next year we will find out!
