Yes, it is true...the North Shore Boyz brought the two smallest pumpkins to the Nanaimo Pumpkinfest Weigh-off. I can tell you, it was well worth the trip and further confirmed to me that when the time comes, my wife and I will move back to Vancouver Island....what an awesome place to call home!!
Look at that beauty orange pumpkin next to my ugly beast.... it is Steve's 788 Companion x 1420.5 Larue that weighed in at 146 lbs...estimate was 140 so that is OK. Hopefully will throw other nice round and orange fruit from the seeds....time will tell!
