This year we also grew some giant flowers for the first time and will do it again next year. These are angel's trumpets aka Brugsmania plants. I got a couple of cuttings from my brother and put them under my germination lights and grew them all winter. These plants were only about 1 foot tall when I put them outside in June....the plant in the foreground is about 5' tall and the one in the background is about a foot taller. Beautiful big and fragrant flowers....will take more cuttings and grow again for sure next year...they will not over-winter here in my part of B.C.

Looking foward to the Nanaimo weigh-off this weekend, a bit of a road-trip for us mainlanders, but it will be a good time and I want to get an official weight on the 1142 van Kooten x 1420.5 Larue.
