I've tilled in 15 yards of rotted manure and leaves from last year, and sowed 20 pounds of winter rye. It's sprouted nicely and should be snow covered in another month or two. I'm planning on only 2 pumpkins next year to give them more room and so that I can pay more attention to them. I'm using proven seeds so I should have a better showing. Next posting...spring 2009.
