We weighed Bartjan Van Raalte's 907 Van Hook this morning.
What a great disappointment. It measured 1120 lbs and weighed 935.5 lbs. That's 20% light.
Still an excellent achievement for a first year grower. Bartjan is currently no.3 and 4 in the top 10 Dutch pumpkins. His 1022.5 Lyons weighed 930 lbs and was 5% heavy.
