Well, it's a good year to have a small pumpkin. Our local weigh off in Nanaimo was cancelled and there's nothing else in the B.C south coast to go to. Looks like I might attend our town's weigh off where they use people to lift the pumpkins and a meat scale to weigh them :-)
My pumpkin is on life support - the plant is dead and the pumpkin isn't getting any bigger. Looks like my estimation of 800 pounds was quite generous - seems to be more around the 600 mark. Well, there's always next year....
