Breakfast Buffet over at my patch Thursday morning. What I assume to be a groundhog came in and chewed the 1009 young fruit up a little. There is about 7 spots maybe 1 square inch by about 1/2 deep each around the pumpkin.

I cleaned with alcohol and applied daconil to it, I went out and got some captan to put on it.

I caught 4 groundhogs and one possum this year, this is the first sign i have seen all year of groundhogs going into the patch. I baited the trap and set it up next to the 1009 young fruit.

Rain, rain, and more rain 3 days straight now, perfect weather healing up pumpkin wounds.

I found a pretty good size soft spot on the 778 fruit stem, i hit it with the captan.

I will post pics soon
