This year I did some distance coaching for a former high school student of mine. This is his first year of serious growing.
Today I visited him and his two pumpkins.
Here the 1022.5 Lyons 07 (1219 Colbert x 1370 Rose). Estimated weight 840 lbs (381 kg). It is probably 50-60 days old. He didn't keep track.
The pumpkin has a serious soft spot on the blossom end. Fortunately it is the smaller pumpkin of the two he has.
