well i lied and said no more checking measurements. went out today to see how conditions were with gustav's 3 inches of rain delivered yesterday. i decided to bring the tape along. 352.5 ott for 920 pound estimate for cosmo on the 1446 on day 74 and not budging. same exact measurements as last year's 997 shenoha so i am hoping it goes 3 pounds heavier than that to hit 4 digits. and georgie on the 1041 is sitting 350 ott or 900 lbs estimate on day 66 and has grown 6 pounds per day over the past 5 days. both should end up about the same size ott and put the dilema on which to choose for the official entry at weigh off. since georgie is a low wide long mama with a crazy heavy genetic predisposition, i will most likely be entering it as my official entry. most low wide mamas im my patch have gone heavier than taller rounder ones. either way, without going heavy, i will have to keep the fingers crossed come weigh off to pass the 1000 pound mark for the first time. 2 chances still at this point with 2 sound pumpkins in a wacky weather season is still something i am proud of. now they got to just make it 29 days to hit the scale.
