I may be crazy but today i realized that the recovering plants in my main patch that once was hit hard by phytophthora , are now coming back, some already vining a good distance. Now the vines are rather strange at this point, but they have been through .... anyway most of these vines are those secondarys of of the secondarys i know they start with a t, say territorials, terrestrials, something along that line, Now i know that usually you cut them off but basically thats all thats left of these plants, so it cant be that bad in this case, because there is barely nothing else attached to the main trunks. Setting new pumpkins and all. So today i was burying the new vines, straightening them and all. I almost lost them all and i really have nothing to lose at this point. so im going to bury up the vines and set some more pumpkins out just for kicks, plus it stays hot here forever really. It may be September but the forcast shows digits in the 90s. tomorow forcast is 95. We shall see what happens.

So left in the running are the 786.5 iosue, 688 albrecht, and the 641 grande.
