A close up view of the rotting stem on the Stidwill pumpkin. Too bad, it was a beautiful shade of orange.
Next year I think I'll go with 2 pumpkins in this patch, and give each more room. I'm sure poor air circulation and over crowding lead to this years problems. I'm thinking of opening up a new area for a third, but it would take me a couple of years to get it ready...
