The 1207 Young and 963 Paton loaded up and ready for the long haul to the Iowa State Fair. I borrowed Dons Scale to weigh the 1566 and it weighed 1003 Pounds! So it went 80 pounds heavy.A personal best ! So I need to get the seeds out Friday before it gets too skunky. The 1207 Young looked sound and solid when we loaded it on the trailer but the rough roads and 160 miles was too much for it. We got up in the morning and Mike found a soft spot on the bottom and was leaking.Game over. It had to be going bad on the inside for a couple days. I would say the heat we had 10 days ago was too much for it and 82 days old fruit.
