Iowa State Fairs results for veggies my Wife and I took.
1st and 2nd Jumbo Watermelon
1st and 2nd Jumbo Muskmelon
1st and 2nd Giant Sunflower Head
1st place Jumbo Cabbage
2nd and 4th Jumbo Pumpkin woody stem
2nd and 4th Jumbo Tomato
3rd and 4th Long Green Been
3rd place Plate of 5 Red Tomatoes
I was really surprised how well we did but the whole state was very wet and cold early.I lost most of my cabbage to the week of heat we had 2 weeks before the fair. I will load the Ags tomorrow and hope they do not spill there guts when we raise them. 1207 Young is 82 days old,963 Paton is 67 days old I think. I took the papers to the truck already so it should be close
