1068 is toast. I'm 99% sure it's pythium. Roots rotted almost completely from the crown. I've been doing preventative sprays, but apparently to no avail on this plant. I'm fairly sure 998 went down to the same thing...though cannot verify at this time. 1402 which backed up to 1068 less than 4' away looked perfect and had a MASSIVE crown. I couldn't set a fruit so pulled 1068, 1402 today. Down to 2 plants in my primary patch. 3 competion fruit remain. I was hoping to have 3 fruit for weigh-off...but things ain't looking pretty here!
